Tajweed annotation layer for HIFZ MATE Published annotations: Collin Fair, quran-tajweed (riwayat Hafs) https://github.com/cpfair/quran-tajweed Pinned source commit: 496f71cd191da00fa2a37ded79dbbddb033bb0ad Source annotation license: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode The publisher supplies exact Unicode code-point spans and identifies its Tanzil text edition as a download from approximately April 6, 2017. Its README credits ReciteQuran.com and Dar al-Maarifah Tajweed masaahif, among other references. It is a published digital annotation dataset, not a certification of this application by those publishers or a scholar. Changes made by HIFZ MATE: The published spans are projected onto the unchanged Tanzil Uthmani v1.1 text. The comparison admits only presentation tatweel, standalone pause marks and the explicit text-encoding changes documented by Tanzil: https://tanzil.net/updates/ Offsets are recomputed against the exact retained character sequence. Unmatched verses or annotations without a retained character are omitted. No Tajweed decision trees are run, and no recitation rulings are generated. The source spans, frozen source-file digests, resulting edition digest and coverage are recorded in tajweed.json. The import is reproducible using scripts/import-tajweed.mjs and the verbatim compressed source files. The color palette and optional underline key are HIFZ MATE presentation. The Quran text remains Tanzil Project Uthmani v1.1, separately licensed under CC BY 3.0. Its unchanged original notice is in LICENSE-Tanzil.txt.
