Privacy summary (English)
Without signing in, everything stays on your device. After sign-in, MAJLIS stores your account identity from the sign-in service, profile and settings, reading position, progress, sessions and bookmarks, circle and social activity, voice recordings you submit (private storage, visible to you and your circle teacher), teacher applications and certificates (private, for administrative review) and messages you send through "Requests and reports". Sign-in goes through a sign-in service (for example a Google account), which gives MAJLIS only your account identity, email and name; your password never reaches MAJLIS, and one secure cookie keeps you signed in. There are no ads and no analytics. Recitation audio is streamed from the audio publishers, GPS prayer times send only coordinates to the prayer-time service, English meaning narration sends only the translation text to the speech service, the optional on-device Quran recognizer is downloaded once from Hugging Face and jsDelivr and keeps your voice on your device, and browser recognition passes your voice to your browser's speech service. You can download all your data, restore it, and delete it from Account & settings; records are kept until you delete them or your account. Contact us through "Requests and reports" in the app.
